Responsibilities: The day-to-day responsibilities of the intern include
- Creating problems in the cybersecurity domain based on client’s requirements and setting up backend/infra for the challenge.
- Communicating with the client from the very beginning to understand their requirement and doing the needful.
- Doing R&D for possible areas in cybersecurity and can be tested in a challenge.
- Mentoring/enabling participants during cybersecurity offline/online campaigns.
Prerequisites: The candidate must have knowledge of VAPT(Manual and Automated), PKI, Binary Exploitation, Reverse Engineering. S/he must have exposure to System/network configuration, TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching, network protocols and packet analysis tools, VPNs, packet shaper, load balancer and proxy server knowledge, firewall, and intrusion detection/prevention protocols.

2| Cyber Security Research & Development Internship At IIT Bombay
Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities: There are two categories for selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities
- Category 1: Refer sources(internet-based) and find the latest attacks/exploits, develop and integrate various game modules.
- Category 2: Analyse research papers and derive conclusions, present the conclusions and implement if approved, maintain logs as well as technical reports.
Prerequisites: Candidates from Mumbai and other neighbouring cities who have relevant skills can apply for the internship.

Responsibilities: Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include
- Monitor and respond to security events from managed customer security systems
- Monitors security events from the various SOC entry channels (SIEM, tickets, email, and phone), based on the security event severity, escalate to managed service support teams, tier2information security specialist, and/or customer as appropriate to perform further investigation and resolution
